HOLIDAY MEAL DISTRIBUTIONS

During major holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter—our organization partnered with Meals on Wheels to deliver over 1,500 holiday meals to individuals in need. These large-scale events required hundreds of volunteers and extensive logistical planning throughout the year.

In my first year supporting these efforts, I recognized a critical need for clear, well-designed communication materials to ensure the events ran smoothly. I created a full suite of instructional and branded materials to support both volunteers and staff, including:
 

  • Meal packing and delivery guidelines to standardize procedures across teams

  • Custom-designed route maps for easy navigation

  • Event signage, including yard signs, door signs, and directional signage

  • Step-by-step instructions for using the MapQuest website to navigate delivery routes

  • Meal Delivery Documents for streamlined distribution and tracking
     

These materials improved the volunteer experience, minimized confusion, and contributed to the overall success of the events by making essential information easy to understand and visually accessible.
