VOLUNTEER NEWSLETTER

Recognizing the need for consistent and engaging communication with our volunteer base, I created a monthly newsletter to share urgent needs, highlight upcoming service opportunities, and build community connection. With limited nonprofit funding for email marketing tools, I improvised by designing clickable graphics in Canva and embedding them into the body of the email, allowing volunteers to access specific sign-ups and donation lists directly. As a result, we saw an increase in donated essential items—often within days—and greater volunteer participation in activities such as meal hosting and client engagement events.
