How did you get started in filmmaking?
Nick Galin picked up his first camcorder around 2010 in North Carolina, starting out by filming home movies and high school sports games. What started as a love for storytelling gradually developed into a serious art form and lifelong calling.
Madeline Galin was first introduced to videography in high school. Today, both work with video professionally, but at the heart of it all is a genuine love for creativity and fun.
What is your filmmaking philosophy?
We believe filmmaking is more than capturing footage — it's a vocation. We bring a filmmaker's eye and a storyteller's heart to every project, creating work that is beautiful, authentic, and meaningful. For us, cinema is a way to honor God and point people toward something greater.
What films and filmmakers inspire you?
Nick Galin is deeply inspired by filmmakers who pushed cinema beyond conventional storytelling — directors who used the camera as a way to express ideas, emotions, and truth that words alone couldn't capture. Films like The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and Pierrot le Fou showed him that cinema could transcend story entirely. La Dolce Vita and Stalker inspired a deeper vision — how film can point people toward meaning, beauty, and ultimately toward God. These films shaped not just how he shoots, but why.
